Did you know this is my second arcade project? The first can be found here - with it's own original site (most info is rather dated by now, though...). I made that one for a friend of mine.
For the software end, I'm using windows command line MAME and some of SirPoonga's great hacks. For the front end I used to use Game Launcher, but now I've switched to Dragon King by Howard Casto. Talk about yer great frontends, this thing is easy to setup and has some great skinning features. I even made my own skin to match the colors of my cab -see a screenshot of mine. I still have some tweaking to do, but I think I have it down.
Hardware stuff:
Built with 3/4" birch plywood (short grain)
2-piece cabinet - top can be separated from the bottom
Finished with sanding sealer and latex black gloss paint with a roller
Monitor is a Wells-Gardner D9200 27" VGA mulitple resolution arcade monitor
27" Monitor plastic bezel (need to add tinted glass and graphics)
Over-Under coin door
4 casters for *relatively easy* moving
2 fold-up cup holders attached to the sides

All start buttons blink accordingly (depending on game)
